Perfect Peace  Perfect Peace

You keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock.       -Isaiah 26:3,4

If your trust is in the Lord Jesus, be assured that you can stand on a firm Foundation, the Rock of your salvation:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27)
"...his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
"For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross." (Colossians 1:19,20)

WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD through the sacrifice of Jesus - the Lamb of God - on the cross at Calvary
“but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)

WE HAVE PEACE WITHIN
“The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:5-7)

WE HAVE PEACE WITH ONE ANOTHER
“But now in Christ you who were once far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace..." (Ephesians 2:13-14)
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity" (Psalm 133:1)
"May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." (I Thessalonians 5:23)

We are Born Again in Perfect Peace through Christ Jesus
"put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness." (Ephesians 4:23)

Right before his crucifixion, Jesus himself prayed for you and for me...
"O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them." (John 17:25,26)
"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
